All of Muslims in the world now is waiting the day of Eid Al Adha. In several countries, Eid Al Fitr may have been the day to gather with big families, but in other countries, they cannot meet on that day. Other families also use the big day like Eid Al Adha to gather the family into one occasion.
Regarding the big day, there are still many people who might be new to Muslims, or even your Non-Muslims friends ask how is Eid Al Adha celebrated? Formally, there is no such true celebration, but Ibadah. Muslims should celebrate the day through salah in the morning on the day of Eid Al Adha. They also should do fasting a day before 10th Dzulhijjah. It is Sunnah, and every Muslim who does not do Hajj should do Arafah fasting.
It is just like Eid Al Fitr, every country has a right to decide where celebrated the day, but it should be based on hadits that are said to do the Salah in a big yard or big Masjid. Thus, even every region also has a different place to celebrate the day of Eid Al Adha. The day where Muslims all over the world celebrate the day by doing Salah. There has been debate among Muslims scholars, but it should not be the reason to separate. However, it is still suggested to do the Eid Salah in the big yard as back then it was said by Ibn Qudamah that Ali radiyallahu’anhu about the recommendation to do the Eid al Adha in the big yard. However, it is still okay to have a different view whether the Eid Salah is held in Masjid or a big yard.
